About Me

Kelly is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual and couples with an emphasis and additional training working with Sex Addiction/Compulsive Sexual Behaviors (certified by the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals) and Betrayal Trauma (certified by the Assoc. of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists). Additionally, Kelly is a PhD student in Clinical Sexology. She is also a trained Family Mediator working with separating and divorcing families in developing a parenting plan. In addition to her training and experience as a Child Custody Recommending Counselor for the California Superior Court, Kelly continues to seek opportunities to advance her skills through active involvement in several organizations that serve the family in family law matters.

Trained in the treatment of trauma, Kelly utilizes EMDR and Brainspotting as part of her practice to support healing. She maintains a private practice office in Hermosa Beach, California as well as offering telehealth services throughout the State of California.

With over 13 years of experience working in the mental health field she possesses a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. Kelly continues serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients in the Southbay and maintains a small practice in West Los Angeles. Prior to entering the mental health profession, Kelly was a Senior Sales and Marketing Representative in the Internal Medicine Division of Sonofi-Aventis Pharmaceuticals.

Kelly is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client and the issues they are facing. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them develop their goals, build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
